Beef Negimaki

Sweet, savory, and a little bit fancy without being fussy—this one is always a crowd-pleaser. Tender beef wrapped around fresh spring onions, glazed in a glossy teriyaki-soy sauce, and lifted with a touch of Cuca Salts for Meat makes every bite seriously satisfying. It looks impressive on the plate, but it’s actually easy enough to pull off at home. Simple, saucy, and full of flavor—this beauty is well worth making.

Ingredients

400 gr beef, sliced to 1/16-inch thickness
200 gr spring onions
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp Cuca Salts for Meat
white sesame seeds, for garnish

Method

  1. Cut the spring onions to match the width of the beef slices.
  2. Place a small bundle of spring onions on each beef slice, then roll tightly.
  3. Lightly dust the rolls with flour.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the beef rolls until browned on all sides.
  6. Mix the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, Cuca Salts for Meat and sugar, then pour into the pan.
  7. Cook until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the beef rolls.
  8. Transfer to a serving plate, spoon the sauce over the top, and garnish with white sesame seeds.
