Caring For Our Environment
Cuca’s approach to sustainability is holistic and impactful:
We work closely with small-scale farmers who prioritize sustainable practices, transforming Indonesia’s fertile land into a pantry of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Through programs like water treatment, herb gardens, and upcoming solar panels, we continuously strive to reduce waste and energy consumption.
We’ve eliminated single-use plastics and rely on recycled and upcycled materials, from reusable cloth bags to lunch boxes for our entire team.
Community Partnerships
At Cuca, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. By partnering with diverse NGOs, we amplify our positive impact
on Bali’s communities and environment, contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Here’s how we contribute:
Tackling plastic pollution and restoring eco systems, we join their monthly river clean-ups to protect Bali’s waterways and raise environmental awareness.
Promoting sustainable fisheries and marine conservation, MDPI educates our kitchen team on ethical sourcing and cooking sustainable fish.
Empowering underprivileged women through education and training, we welcome their graduates as interns, with many becoming valued team members.
Advocating for ethical animal treatment, we exclusively use cage-free eggs, promoting humane farming practices in the food industry.
Supporting the care of Bali’s street dogs, we donate daily our food scraps to help nourish these animals while reducing waste.
Partnering with Bali Children’s Foundation, we contribute to educational programs that empower underprivileged children with brighter futures.
Advocating for waste management and recycling, they collect and repurpose our waste, reducing our environmental footprint.
Devoted to ocean conservation, these organizations benefit from our funds and workshops, helping protect Bali’s marine ecosystems.
Collaborating on events to support mental health, we raise awareness and provide resources to foster healthier communities.
