Partnering with the iconic Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, they will welcome travelers this festive season with the promise of a 360-degree gourmet paradise experience.

Nestled among white sands and crystal waters, the elegant Waldorf Astoria Maldives is set over three islands and a private reef rich with an incredible diversity of marine life. The resort, which recently celebrated its first year since opening, offers guests a sense of elevated luxury in an exclusive tropical enclave.

All part of Cuca’s uniqua-licious signature Gastro Tours, now in its epic sixth year, celebrating fiendishly inventive gastronomic extravaganzas and collaborations at exceptional venues and fabulous locations across Asia Pacific. 

At this two-evening event, Waldorf Astoria’s elite guests with a taste for something different will enjoy a handcrafted menu featuring Cuca’s classiest acts alongside its latest spellbinding additions. Among classics like “BBQ Octopus”, Bali’s famed restaurant is also bringing its latest cheeky creations “Hot Potato” and “Fish Tartare” together with a few new sweets which will shine along their show-stopping and star dessert “Bali Breakfast”.

From Cuca, guests can expect as always daringly innovative dishes bursting with flavor, house-made with western cooking techniques and the uncompromising use of premium natural products. All seasoned with meticulously paired wines and up-tempo jazz-techno swing, and snappily orchestrated by Waldorf Astoria’s super crew and Cuca’s entire senior team lead by the fearlessly creative award-winning Chef and co-creator, Canadian-born Kevin Cherkas, whose super-impressive culinary resume reveals stints at three Michelin-starred restaurants in New York and Spain, including the legendary El Bulli.

The evening will start with Cuca’s signature photogenic and undisputed best-selling cocktail “Moon-gria” against the backdrop of the stunning Maldivian sunset over the Indian Ocean from Amber, the resort’s relaxed Champagne bar, while dinner will be served at the casually charming greenhouse sanctuary Glow, whose conservatory-like dining room, surrounded by lush greenery, offers a feel of relaxed elegance.

The stage is set for a mouth-watering gourmet celebration surrounded by astonishing natural beauty and the promise that paradise has never tasted so good.
