All part of Cuca’s signature Gastro Tours, now in its epic seventh year, celebrating fiendishly inventive gastronomic extravaganzas and collaborations – including their think-outside-the box signature event “Swig & Nibble” at exceptional venues and fabulous locations across Asia Pacific.
What you would expect from Cuca: since 2013, an ultra-contemporary restaurant dishing-up a radically different ‘clever comfort food for sharing’ and ‘super casual meets fine-dining’ experience and one of South-east Asia’s celebrated foodie destinations – ranked by TripAdvisor Travelers Choice amongst Asia’s Top fine-dining restaurants. Cuca’s quirky trademark style comes masterminded by our award-winning Chef and co-creator, Kevin Cherkas, whose impressive resume boasts stints at Michelin-starred restaurants, including “Daniel” in New York and “El Bulli” and “Arzak” in Spain. “We are beyond excited about this collaboration, and we look forward to handcrafting an extraordinarily magical experience alongside the very talented team of Capella!”- says the fearlessly creative Kevin.
Swig & Nibble @ Capella, Ubud promises to be an off-the-charts, fairy-tale food and wine experience infused with Cuca’s Swig & Nibble stand-up, daringly innovative spirit: three action-packed hours of 20 magically crafted sweet and savory canapés presented on oversized trays brimming with artful arrangements, served in a non-stop, predetermined sequence. All this snappily orchestrated with meticulously paired wines intermittently poured at designated stations and funky techno swing sounds played out under the stars in the rainforest at the heart of the Capella’s lush camp.
