Cuca is thrilled to announce a major shift in our ingredient sourcing, committing to using only cage-free eggs. This decision follows an eye-opening collaboration with the NGO Animals Don’t Speak Human, which highlighted to us the stark differences between battery-caged and cage-free chickens. Battery-caged chickens live in cramped, inhumane conditions, resulting in lower-quality eggs. Conversely, cage-free hens roam freely, leading to eggs rich in omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, and essential nutrients.
In Cuca we have always prioritized serving nutritious, high-quality food. For years, we avoided using eggs due to concerns over their quality and ethical production. However, after learning about the benefits of cage-free eggs, we are now proudly incorporating them into our dishes.
This move aligns with Cuca’s commitment to excellence and ethical sourcing, promising happier chickens, superior eggs, and an enhanced dining experience.
